Bring along a picnic rug or some camp chairs and treat the family to dinner and watch a performance by local talent Den. on Harvest’s SOMA Community Stage before the motion pictures begin! Hear also the stories of our farmers, the scientists, chefs, cidermakers* and volunteers who are the stallholders at the Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market.

The feature film, Ride Like A Girl, celebrates the story of the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup. Stories like that of Michelle Payne, are part of the fabric of our community and are an inspiration to all women and girls to strive for excellence.

Cost – Free to attend event but tickets must be booked for Festival.  Food and Beverages can be purchased from stallholders individually.

*Who – Brady’s Lookout Cider is featured as part of the volunteer and stallholder film stories as well as being a stallholder at the Festival.
